Reliance Jio has discontinued the free data benefit offered with its talk time plan. Similarly, voice calling will no longer be available in Jio’s 4G data vouchers. In early 2020, Jio had announced up to 1000 calling minutes on non-Jio network with 100GB of free data vouchers and 4G data vouchers with its talk time plan.
Mukesh Abani-led Jio used to offer 1GB of data to users spending up to Rs 10 on off-net calls till now. That is, 100 GB free data was given with 1 thousand rupees talk time plan. Now that the company has made voice calling free on every network, it is also legitimate to discontinue the free data voucher.

In late 2020, Reliance Jio announced that after the implementation of zero IUC system in the industry, Jio customers will be able to make free voice calls on every network. Please tell that for off-net calls, Jio started charging 6 paise per minute with its talk time plan. For this, additional data was offered to users in these plans.
Jio has talk time plans of up to Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1 thousand. It has free data up to 100 GB. But now these plans only come with free talk time. Jio top-up plan of Rs 1000 now offers talk time of Rs 844.46.

Calling facility will not be available in 4G data voucher
The company has also revised Jio 4G data vouchers of Rs 11, Rs 21, Rs 51 and Rs 401. So far, the 4G data voucher of 11 rupees was 75 minutes on non-Jio network, while the 1000 rupees pack used to get 1000 minutes. In addition to voice calling, Jio also started offering double data benefits in these data vouchers. Earlier the Rs 11 4G data voucher used to come with 400MB data benefit but now it gets 800MB data.
It is worth noting that Jio has not made any changes in the data benefits of its 4G data vouchers. But the non-geo calling benefit has been removed. That is, there is no voice calling benefit with these 4G data vouchers.
